Data Synchronization Framework

Mobility and particularly Enterprise Mobility deals with the problems of mobilizing applications and systems so that people and employees on the move can access as well as participate in processes and workflows happening in the Enterprise world. This requires that the following problems be dealt by the application in question:

  • Synchronizing the data to the handset in both directions i.e. Enterprise to mobile as well as mobile to Enterprise.
  • Providing reliability in synchronization and dealing with issues such as network outages most common with moving workforce in the field.
  • Filtering data in both directions appropriate to the roles of the person holding a device.
  • Ability to synchronize and integrate a wide variety of Mobile devices and handsets.
  • Ability to bring in multiple enterprise systems together to interact with the mobile users with their limited screen sizes
  • Ability to push changes at the Enterprise to mobile systems in a real time fashion.
  • Ability to manage conflicts of data in a systematic as well as customizable rules based fashion.
  • Ability to minimize network usage and processing power while dealing with the above issues efficiently.
  • Ability to secure data transmission as well as alignment with Secure Identity management.

We at Duronto have realized that the above set of problems are dealt better at a framework or a platform level. Thus we have aligned our efforts with the Open Mobile Alliance proposed standards and guidelines and have created the Data Synchronization framework as below:

Mobile Workforce Solutions
